Traditional Tamburello Calabrese – Mahogany goat-skin tambourine

This 30 cm traditional Calabrian tambourine is built following the historic techniques of Southern Italy. The shell is made of mahogany wood—resonant and durable—while the goatskin head is hand-tanned, preserving its full sonic response. The jingles are hand-hammered tin, producing a dry, cutting metallic tone true to Calabrian folk tradition.
