Traditional Tamburello 12" (30 cm) - Poplar & Goatskin tambourine

A Traditional tambourine crafted in the tradition of Southern Italy. The poplar wood frame is ultra-lightweight yet durable, and the natural goatskin head provides a warm, sensitive, and deep tonal response. The jingles are made from Hand-hammered and annealed metal jingles, that are Ideal for pizzica. The size of 30 cm makes this tamburello ideal also for tarantella calabrese.
